Our Speech-Language Pathologists provide support for children with a variety of needs and communication difficulties, including the following:
Assessment
A comprehensive evaluation process conducted by a speech-language pathologist (SLP) to diagnose and identify speech and language disorders in children of all ages. This assessment typically includes a variety of standardized tests, observations, and interviews with parents to assess a child’s speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication abilities. The results of the assessment are used to develop an intervention plan tailored to the child's specific needs and challenges.

Consultation

An individualized treatment process, which involves structured exercises, activities, and techniques designed to address specific communication challenges, with the ultimate goal of enhancing the child's ability to effectively express themselves and communicate with others.
Intervention

A collaborative and supportive process in which our speech-language pathologists work with parents or caregivers to provide guidance, education, and strategies for effectively supporting a child's development and addressing specific challenges. Parent coaching helps parents learn how to reinforce and practice certain techniques at home, promoting more consistent progress in their child's communication and language development.
